Gilani sending Manmohan, wife's 'weakness' 'Rewary' as souvenir
Islamabad, May.1 (ANI): The 50-minute talk between Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani on the sidelines of the XVIth South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit in Thimpu may have done more than just clearing the air between both nations, it has suddenly developed a 'sweet' relationship between Dr. Singh and Gilani.
In an informal conversation with reporters on his special aircraft enroute to Islamabad from Thimpu, Gilani recalled his meeting with 'pleasant and down-to-earth' Dr. Singh.
Gilani said during their conversation, the Indian leader shared his school days' memories with him of his village home in Gah, in Chakwal District of Punjab province.
Dr. Singh also revealed that both him and his wife Gursharan Kaur are very fond of 'Rewary' (a sweet prepared from raw sugar and milk).
"I will send Rewary as souvenir to the Indian prime minister," The News quoted Gilani, as saying. (ANI)
