Man stabs 18 school students in China
Beijing, Apr 29: In gruesome replay of mass massacre of eight primary school students by a Chinese doctor on Mar 2010, 18 students and a teachers in another school in southern China were brutally stabbed by a knife wielding man on Wednesday, Apr 27.
A 40-year-old man broke into Leicheng First Primary School in Leizhou City in Guangdong Province at around 3pm and started his killing spree before the police could overpower and arrest him.
According to local media report, the injured were rushed to local hospitals. The seriousness of the injury is not yet ascertained.
The motive behind attack by the man, who is yet to be identified, is not yet known.
The gruesome incident is being compared to that of the stabbing of eight school students by Chinese doctor, who claimed of commiting the act because he was dumped by his lover.
Local media reported that the accused was shot to death by firing squad after his death penalty was was approved by the Supreme People's Court (SPC).
