J'khand: 1 Maoist killed, two CRPF personnel hurt
Chaibasa (Jharkhand), Apr 23: In a fierce shootout between Maoists and CPRF personnel, one Naxal was killed and four people, including two CRPF personnel, were injured at Bandu village in West Singhbhum district on Friday, Apr 23.
"The encounter broke out when the Maoists opened fire on a CRPF team. In the return fire, a Maoist was shot dead, and two Maoists were wounded," West Singhbhum Superintendent of Police, Akhilesh Jha, told reporters.
He said that the two CRPF personnel were injured in the incident, with one suffering gun shots in his hand and another in his foot.
The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Chakradharpur, he added.
The incident took place when the Maoists open fired at CRPF personnel, who were patrolling near Bandu.
