6 killed in roadside blasts in Iraq
Baghdad, Apr 23: Six people were killed when roadside bombs targeted at the homes of policemen went off in western Iraq near the city of Ramadi, Iraqi officials said.
Ten were reportedly injured in the blasts which occured at the town of Khalidiya, 15 miles (25 kilometers) east of Ramadi.
Police officer in Khalidiya and an official with the Interior Ministry, both of whom sought anonymity, informed about the number of casualties.
The explosion were targeted at the homes of a police officer, an investigator and a policeman in the Khalidiya area, a police officer in Khalidiya said.
It has not yet been ascertained as to whether those targeted figured in the list of casualties.
