2 held for the murder of BSP leader

Varanasi, Apr 22: Two people have arrested in connection with the murder of a local BSP leader on Thursday, Apr 22, police said.

The suspects identified as Hausla Prasad Pandey and Rishi Dube have been held for killing BSP leader Shiksha Mitra Krishna Mohan Pandey on Wednesday, Apr 21, evening, SP city Vijay Bhushan said.

Bhushan said that efforts are being made to arrest the third suspect who is at large.

The pistol used in the crime has been found by the police.

32-year-old Krishna Mohan Pandey was gunned down by three people on a motorcycle in Goithahan village in cantonment area on Apr 21.

The attackers managed to escape from the scene.

Bhushan said that main motive behind the murder was a property dispute.
