Nithyananda bail plea hearing posted to Apr 22
Bangalore, Apr 21: While the Karnataka police was busy nabbing the sex scandal tainted-Swami Nithyananda, a Bangalore sessions court posted the hearing on godman's anticipatory bail application to Thursday, Apr 22.
The plea came up for hearing in Ramanagarm court on Wednesday, Apr 21.
Nithyananda had filed a petition in the Karnataka High Court seeking the quashing of the criminal cases slapped against him in the wake of the sex scandal.
On Apr 15, the HC adjourned the hearing on the petition to Apr 21.
The Bangalore court's decision came on the same day Nithyananda was arrested from Himachal Pradesh.
Nithyananda has been running from the law since one month despite repeatedly stressing on his innocence.
