Pollen pics help hayfever sufferers see invisible enemy
London, Apr 20 (ANI): Hayfever sufferers can finally see their invisible enemy, all thanks to the amazing pollen pictures captured by Swiss scientist Martin Oeggerli.eggerli took 10 years to perfect the technique on a 250,000-pound microscope.
He said his work, a mixture of science and art, aims to "show a hidden but unimaginably beautiful realm of our planet".
The pollen is covered in gold, fixed to a slide and put into an airless chamber to be "photographed".
As omages come out in shades of grey, Martin colours the pictures himself on a computer.
"To take 10 images of one item takes two days - it makes these pictures unique," the Daily Express quoted him as saying. (ANI)
