Maoists gun down youth in Jharkhand

Giridih, Apr 15: Maoists gunned down a youth in Ratanjori village of Naxal-affected Giridih district here, police said.

Superintendent of Police Ravi Kant Dhan said that a group of suspected CPI (Maoist) rebels dragged Kishore Rana from a ceremony which he was attending and shot him to death.

Rana was killed by the Maoists on suspicions of being a police informer.

The rebels managed to flee before the police could reach the spot.
