Inflation to continue till Jun 2010: Pranab
New Delhi, Apr 15: Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday, Apr 15, said that wholesale price-based inflation though may be lesser in Mar is likely to continue till Jun 2010.
“Of course, the apprehension was that it may reach the double digit figure. So it has moderated to some extent but you will have to see that till the month of June, this pressure will continue," Mukherjee told reporters here.
In Mar 2010, there was a moderate inflation of 9.9 per cent against 9.89 per in the previous month.
The Finance Minister said price raise will be relaxed to a certain extent after the completion of the Rabi (winter crops) harvesting.
