Storm in West Bengal, 31 die, 50k houses collapse
Kolkata, Apr 14: A storm hit West Bengal's North Dinapur District on Wednesday, Apr 14 morning killing at least 31 people and injuring scores.
Besides injuring over 100 people, the storm has also brought down as many as 50,000 houses in Raiganj. The impact has left an estimated 1 lakh people displaced.
During the spring season, Assam and West Bengal are generally battered by storms.
