Explosion in Mathura, at least 3 killed

Mathura, Apr 14: At least three people have been killed and few others injured in an explosion in a scrap market here on Wednesday, Apr 14 afternoon.

The explosion reportedly took place at around 2:45 near the Sri Krishna Janam Sthan.

There are differing reports on the death toll as some media reports claim that the explosion claimed four lives.

Terror angle to the explosion is reportedly unlikely.

A leading TV news channel reported that the explosion took place when scrap dealers tried to hammer a shell to extract brass.
