Brit milkman blames Google for garage burglary
London, Apr 13: A milkman in Britain has blamed Google for the burglary in his garage.
54-year-old Gordon Rayner reckons that his garage was burgled after crooks spotted expensive contents on the Google Maps Street View website.
Rayner of Thackley, Bradford, West Yorks, said: "The garage door was left open, you can clearly see everything in there.
"They should have blacked that out. It is just an invitation for any criminal to take what they like."
Gordon has now removed anything of value from the garage at his home, reports The Daily Star.
The launch of Street View caused concern from privacy campaigners who claim the site - which allows users to see 360-degree images of streets - makes it easy for criminals to case potential victims.
