Two held for raping student, making video clip

Ghaziabad, Apr 12: Two people were arrested for allegedly raping a Class XI student and for blackmailing the victim by using a video clip of the act to keep her mouth shut.

According to the SSP Raghubir Lal, the victim was raped by the husband of her tutor Neeta Chaudhry and his friend in Sahibabad area on Sep 6, 2009, in Neeta's absence.

Ashok Chaudhry (35) and his friend Nikhil Mudgal who were present in the house on the fateful day offered the victim a cup of tea laced with intoxicants.

The duo raped her after she fell unconscious and made a video clip of the act to prevent her from reporting about the incident.

Unable to bear the threat and humiliation any longer, the victim confided into her parents. A case was registered against the culprits and they were arrested on Apr 11. However, the teacher is at large.
