Delhi: Speeding BMW kills elderly man

New Delhi, Apr 8: Yet another accident involving a BMW has been reported from the national capital where an elderly man was killed by the speeding car.

The victim has been identified as Om Dutt Chauhan, who was killed in the accident which took place in East Delhi early Thursday, Apr 8.

The BMW hit the old man when it was trying to overtake a bike, the police said. Three people involved in the accident have been detained.

The nephew of the victim, Sandeep, has alleged that the police failed to take Mr Chauhan quickly to the hospital, which led to the loss of life.

Any accident involving a BMW still reminds the country of the sensational BMW hit-and-run case of 2008.
