Hyundai rolls out new i20, Era, Sportz
New Delhi, Apr 7: Hyundai Motor India Ltd rolled out a new version of its popular compact car i20 along with two new variants.
The new i20 is the first model in the small car segment to have six-speed manual transmission gears in the diesel variant.
Hyundai Motors also launched two additional variants, Era and Sportz, on Wednesday, Apr 7. These two new cars are positioned between the existing Magna and Asta.
Available in both petrol and diesel variants, Era's engine complies with the recently implemented Bharat Stage IV emission norms.
"We are pleased to announce the launch of the i20 with new features and two additional variants. While the variants are targeted at our customers who have different needs, the new features will make it even more desirable for our customers," said H W Park, managing director and chief executive.
The cars are priced in the range of Rs 4.51 to 5.31 lakh.
