One policeman killed in Russia suicide blast

Moscow, Apr 5: At least one policeman was killed and several others were injured when a suicide bomb exploded near police headquaters in Russia's North Caucasus region of Ingushetia.

A security spokesman said, "According to preliminary information a suicide bomber set off an explosion outside the town's police station."

The spokesman also said, "At least one policeman was killed and others were injured."

Russia has sought to tighten security since a pair of suicide bombers attacked the Moscow metro last week, killing at least 50 people.
