Pune: MBA student gangraped in taxi, 2 held

Pune, Apr 2: In a shocking incident, an MBA student was gangraped by three persons inside a hired taxi in Pune on Thursday, Apr 1.

According to reports, the incident took place in Wasad area at 4:30 pm on Thursday, Apr 1.

The victim, who hails from Nagpur and is married, was going for an interview when she accepted a lift from a hired taxi.

She was then allegedly driven around in the car by three unknown persons who were travelling in it with her.

The victim alleged that she was allegedly beaten mercilessly and then taken to a deserted location and repeatedly raped.

An FIR has been registered in the case and two suspects have been arrested while police have launched a manhunt for the main accused who is absconding.
