JK gunbattle: 4 LeT militants, 3 jawans killed

Jammu, Mar 31: Four militants and three jawans have been killed in a gun fight in Rajouri district of Jammu Kashmir on Wednesday, Mar 31.

"Army troops and police had launched a cordon and search operation in Rajouri forests on Tuesday, Mar 30," Senior Superintendent of Police Shafkat Watalie was quoted by news agency as saying.

According to him, during search operation of the area, where four-five militants were hiding, Army and police came under heavy fire and retaliated, sparking a fierce gun battle.

In the encounter which ended today, Mar 31, four top Pakistani militants of LeT were killed, the SSP said, adding three army jawans also died in the gunfight.
