'Horndog High' teachers to be charged for alleged lesbian tryst in school

New York, Mar 31 (ANI): Two Brooklyn romance language teachers, who were caught having a naked romp in an empty classroom, are set to be charged with professional misconduct.

French teacher Cindy Mauro, 34, and Spanish instructor Alini Brito, 30, were removed from James Madison High School in November after a janitor stumbled on them in the middle of what appeared to be a lesbian tryst.

The two tenured teachers were yanked from their classrooms and immediately sent to the so-called "rubber room" pending the outcome of an investigation.

Department of education officials said on March 30 the allegations have now been substantiated by the Office of Special Investigations.

"They face disciplinary action," the New York Daily News quoted spokeswoman Margie Feinberg as saying, though she wouldn't provide details about the incidents.

James Madison High School became known as "Horndog High" after the scandal was exposed in December.

Students even set up a Facebook group to discuss the shenanigans, which took place November 20 while they were watching an after-school talent show in the auditorium.

A third social studies teacher, Allison Musacchio, is also under investigation for having an inappropriate relationship with a male student, sources added. (ANI)
