L&T bags Rs 1400 crore order from IOCL

Mumbai, Mar 29: Construction and engineering behemoth, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged a Rs 1400 crore-worth order from Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).

IOCL handed over the project to Hydrocarbon Mid and Downstream Business Group of L&T"s Engineering & Construction Division for the 4.17 MMTPA FCC (Fluidized Catalytic Cracker) Reactor Regenerator Project of a grassroots fuel refinery at Paradip, Orissa.

Under this project, L&T will be dealing with Residual and Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Manufacture, Fabrication, Construction, Installation, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Performance Test Run.

The project shall be executed on Lumpsum Turnkey (LSTK) basis and is expected to start-up by Jul 2012, the company said in a statement released on Monday, Mar 29.
