Kolkata, Mar 29: Putting an end to speculation over the injury of Maoist leader Kishenji, the CPI-Maoists confirmed that Kishenji had sustained injuries during the encounter with security forces in West Bengal's Hatilote village, media repots said.
Earlier, media reports said that Kishenji may have been seriously injured during a seven-hour-long gun battle between security forces and the Maoists in West Midnapore district.
