Boy beaten to death with cricket bat in Patna

Patna, Mar 29: A quarrel over a cricket pitch turned fatal for a 12-year-old boy as he was beaten to death by a group of miscreants in Patna on Sunday, Mar 28.

Police sources said that Akash and his friends had entered into an altercation with a group of boys who asked them to leave a pitch on the B N College ground as they played on it everyday.

The boys allegedly beat Akash with bats and wickets which led to his death. Sources said that Akash's brother suffered minor injuries.

Akash's father has filed an FIR against two people.
