Berlin: 6-year-old boy finds WW-II bomb in park
Berlin, Mar 29: A 6-year-old boy found an unexploded World War-II bomb while walking in a Berlin woods with his grandfather on Sunday, Mar 28.
According to police, the toddler spotted roughly 24-inch-long cylinder with a red head casing in a wooded area of Berlin's Kopenick neighborhood.
The grandfather contacted the police and confirmed it to be a WW-II-era incendiary bomb before removing it.
Berlin police have planned to award the boy with a stuffed animal for his "explosive" finding, a spokesman told news agencies.
