13-year-old girl sets herself on fire in UP
Balrampur, Mar 28: In a shocking incident, a 13-year-old girl set herself on fire after being allegedly raped by a youth in Tulsipur area, police said on Sunday, Mar 28.
According to police, the girl killed herself after she was held captive and raped by Ashok Kumar in Misirdeeh village on Saturday, Mar 27.
Police said that the victim was rushed to district hospital in Bahraich.
She succumbed to burn injuries last night, Police said, adding the accused has been arrested.
