JK: Another gunbattle between militants and troops
Jammu, Mar 27: Yet another gun battle has broken out between militants and security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir. Police has informed of a ongoing gun battle between militants and security forces in Rajouri district.
Security personnel and militants have been reportedly exchanging fire since Saturday, Mar 27 morning in Baji Mahal forest in Dharamsal.
The security personnel along with police stormed the forest after receiving intelligence input on presence of militants in the area. When the militants saw the troops they started firing, prompting the forces to retaliate.
Rashtriya Rifle troops, army and the police are carrying out the operation.
There are reports that four to five militants have been trapped.
