Kolkata fire: Toll rises to 25, several missing

Kolkata, Mar 26: Another charred body was found in Stephen Court, taking the toll in the devastating Park Street fire to 25, police said on Friday, Mar 26.

According to police, the body was found from the fifth floor of the building and its gender was yet to be ascertained.

The body has been taken to SSKM Hospital for postmortem, police said.

Several persons are still missing after a massive fire swept through the 150-year-old multi-storeyed iconic building housing offices and residences in Kolkata's busy Park Street on Tuesday, Mar 23.
