Maoists blast police building in Bihar
Chapra, Mar 25: Maoists continued to wreck havoc in Bihar as the rebels blew up an under-construction police building at Bhelbi in Bihar's Saran district, police said on Thursday, Mar 25.
Police said that Over 50 armed Maoists surrounded the building at around 11.45 pm on Wednesday, Mar 25, night and fired indiscriminately.
The rebels also triggered dynamite, which tore down the under construction building, around 2.5 km away from Bhelbi police station, they added.
Police said that no casualty has been reported so far.
A handbill demanding the immediate halt of 'Operation Green Hunt' by the state government was left behind by the Maoists.
Raids are being conducted to arrest the Naxals involved in the attack.
