Missing Amity University student's dead body found in Aligarh

Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 25 (ANI): The body of a missing Amity University student Rohit Kumar, was found in Aligarh this morning.

Rohit Kumar, a B. Tech second year student from Amity had been untraceable since Sunday. A missing person report had been lodged with Noida Police.

Sources said a ransom of Rs one crore had been demanded for Rohit's release.

Police have taken Rohit's friend into custody for questioning in connection with the case.

Rohit had returned to Noida from his native place Aligarh on March 20, but had gone missing since then. (ANI)
