CRPF imparts computer training to Kashmiri youths

Srinagar, Mar 24 (ANI): The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) recently organized a computer training course for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

The three-month course educated the youngsters in basics skills. It benefited a batch of 60 youth here under the Core Psychological war fare group (CPG) programme.

During the course the youths were trained in MS office, automation and Internet.

The successful youths were given certificates in a programme organized at the CRPF's 29th Battalion in Srinagar.

Addressing the trainees, the CRPF Inspector General P.V.K.Reddy, praised 29 Bn, CRPF for sponsoring such a course, which would help the unemployed to get a job or run his own profession in an effective manner.

He asked youths to learn with interest and complete the course successfully.

Interacting with senior CRPF officials, the students talked about the importance of education in their lives and said such programmes were actually of a great help for poor students

The course that started last December concluded in March 2010.

Meanwhile, the CRPF has decided to continue the same motive for the better career of unemployed youths of the Kashmir Valley.

The CRPF has once again sponsored 45 days advance software designing programme in multimedia and animation for these 60 unemployed youths from Thursday. (ANI)
