Nintendo announces new 3D portable device
Bangalore, Mar 23: Days ahead of the release of the new hand-held DSi XL, Nintendo has announced the launch of its new portable game machine called 3DS.
A successor to the DS/DSi, Nintendo 3DS' appeal is that the users don't have to worry about using special glasses to view 3D images.
The device is expected to be launched in the Japanese market first and it will be before March 2011, say reports.
3DS will be compatible with Nintendo DS and DSi software, the company informed.
However, no particular details on the price or pictures of the product has been released.
Nintendo is expected to give more information on the new device at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles in Jun 2010.
