L&T wins orders worth Rs 1,500 cr

New Delhi, Mar 23: Larsen & Turbo (L&T) on Tuesday, Mar 23, announced that it has won orders worth Rs 1,500 crore from various vendors.

"The company's building and factories operating company has bagged new orders totalling Rs 1,500 crore, " L&T said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

L&T has received two orders worth Rs 627 crore from HLL Lifecare Ltd for construction of hospital buildings and a Rs 342-crore contract is secured from Shree Ahuja Properties & Realtors for residential buildings.

The firm has bagged Rs 321 crore contract from Lucknow Development Authority for construction of residential towers and the remaining Rs 210 crore has been secured from various clients.

"These orders further enhances the order book of the company, which has already secured major design and build contracts for Airports, IT parks and commercial space," the company said.
