Voters attitude poll predicts big win for Congress Party
New Delhi, Mar 17 (ANI): The voters' attitude poll that was conducted by politicsparty.com in all the major states of the country suggested a victory for the Congress Party, as of now.
The survey was conducted for over three days from March 12 to March 14 and around ninety representative Lok Sabha constituencies were selected on the basis of voting trends in 2004 and 2009 General Elections.
A random sample of 200 voters (100 men and 100 women) were selected in each Lok Sabha constituency and were asked to which party would they vote if elections to the Lok Sabha are held presently.
As per their responses, Sonia Gandhi-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) will win 280 seats out of the total 543 Lok Sabha constituencies. The National Democratic Alliance pivoted by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will secure a victory in 105 Lok Sabha seats.
The others comprising Regional, Communists and other small political outfits will manage a win in 158 Lok Sabha seats.
There is a 'Women Wave' in favour of Congress President Sonia Gandhi through out the country that is over-riding the immense voter against Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh's Government for its failure in lowering the prices of essential commodities.
With high prices posing a danger to the Congress Government in the next Lok Sabha elections, Sonia Gandhi will have to exploit the 'Women Wave' to go in for a victorious mid-term poll in 2010. (ANI)
