Greek pop star's sex tape makes œ4.5m despite country's financial crisis

London, Mar 17 (ANI): Despite being in the middle of a financial crisis, a sex tape featuring Greek pop star Julia Alexandratou is said to have made 4.5 million pounds in Greece.

Alexandratou, 24, who is half-English, has done various model shoots as well as a number of music videos, including the 2007 single 'The Target is Cash', which featured a racy video of its own.

As Europe's finance ministers agree how to help Greece's beleaguered finances, Alexandratou's 45-minute tape is said to have gained much attention after it earned so much in just 10 days.

The footage shows the singer in a whirlpool bath with an as-yet unidentified man, and it has generated so much interest that merchandise in her likeness are being sold, including Easter candles.

Alexandratou claims that the recording was for private use and that it was not intended for distribution.

"It's a big scandal in Greece, it's the first time a Greek celebrity did something like this and it got out," the Telegraph quoted her as telling the Independent. (ANI)
