Accomplices kill constables, free contract killer

Allahabad, Mar 17: Two accomplices of a contract killer pumped bullets into two constables in a moving train to help the criminal escape.

Constables Hariram (30) and Dharmendra (40) were shot dead by two unidentified assailants on Tuesday, Mar 16 night on board Jaunpur—Allahabad passenger train.

The two alleged accomplices of Neeraj pulled the chain, shot at the two constables to free the killer, who is facing murder trail at fast track court in Jaunpur, the police said on Wednesday, Mar 17.

“The incident occurred when the two constables were taking Neeraj back to Naini jail after producing him in the fast track court," they said.

Allahabad - Jaunpur border has been sealed and a manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits.
