Srikrishna Commitee to meet in Delhi on Mar 18
New Delhi, Mar 16: Justice B N Srikrishna Committee on Telangana will meet in New Delhi for the third time on Thursday, Mar 18, to review the progress made on the separate Telangana.
Briefing on the responses received by the Committee from various quarters on Telangana, Panel's member-secretary Vinod K Duggal said that the response from various quarters, including individuals and various organisations on separate Telangana has been overwhelming.
"We have appointed some people just to read the responses. The response we have got is overwhelming.... we are happy (with the trend)," he said.
"We are planning to appoint some five to six dedicated people to see the responses and format them. We need dedicated people to sort out the overwhelming responses," Duggal said.
The panel will launch its consultation process with the general public and political parties from the first week of Apr 2010.
Committee also said that the hearings on the issue will be held in Hyderabad and other parts of the state.
