Miniature Bible a major attraction in among people in Coimbatore

Coimbatore, March 14 (ANI): A miniature Bible has become the cynosure of all eyes here for its unusually tiny size. It is just 1.5 inches in length and 0.6 inch in width.

According to the Fr. Joseph Vaniamthara who conceptualised this miniature Bible, it is for the first time that such a Bible has caught the attraction of the people and is useful as it can be carried anywhere very easily.

"Today, in a way, we are very particular to see a small sized Bible. It's a unique Bible; this is for the first time that a miniature Bible is being sold at our store. The Bible is nearly one inch in breadth, 1.5 inch in length and 0.6 inch in width. It is so beautiful that it can attract anyone," said Father Joseph Vaniamthara.

The locals find this miniature form of Bible very attractive and find it very useful for their children. But it takes a magnifying glass to read it.

"Generally, we follow the big sized Bible, but now we are finding this small sized Bible more interesting. We find it very useful and interesting for the kids. They absolutely love it, as it is easy to handle and read (with magnifying glass)," said Mary Thangam, a local.

Nowadays, Bible is available in many sizes, from pocket size to mega editions.

The unique feature of this Bible designed by Fr. Vaniamhtra is that it has all the contents that are in a normal sized Bible! By Jehovah G (ANI)
