Yes, it is me in the video: Swami Nithyananda

Bangalore, Mar 13: For the first time, the Swamiji Nithyananda has admitted that it is in fact him in the sex scandal video.

The spiritual guru, who made this shocking admission while speaking to Times Now TV, said that he did not think that he had done something wrong.

This comes a day after he made a direct reference to the video, which shows him fondling a Tamil actress, in an interview with his disciple Rajiv Malhotra.

Speaking to the news channel on Saturday, Mar 13, the Swamiji said the Tamil actress, who is a volunteer and a devotee, was only serving him and taking care of him when he was sick.

He also said that he was in a state of trance when the video was recorded in Dec 2009. Parts of the video were manipulated and morphed, he added reiterating that the sex scandal was a conspiracy spun against him.

Stressing that his personal life was not only intruded on but also misrepresented by the media, the 33-year-old Swamiji said that he needs a chance to explain himself.

He once again blamed the media for defaming him and questioned as to why certain irrelevant things such as the visuals of him changing clothes after a bath were aired and published in a negative light.
