French tourist found dead in Udaipur hotel room

Udaipur, Mar 11: A French tourist was found dead in her hotel room on Saturday, Mar 6 under mysterious circumstances raising doubts of foul play leading to the arrest of an Indian.

However, the post mortem has determined the cause of death to be overdose of alcohol.

The deceased has been identified as Anny and she was working as an air hostess with a Swiss airline.

The police on Thursday, Mar 11, said that Anny's Indian friend Dhruv was arrested earlier on the suspicion that he has something to do with the death of the French woman. He told the police that he had drinks with Anny on the previous night.

The police suspected foul play as injury marks were found on Anny's body. However, it was later found that Anny had received the injuries in a car accident on Mar 2.
