Michelle Obama 'bends it like Beckham' to promote anti-obesity campaign
London, March 6 (ANI): Michelle Obama showed off some fancy footwork while promoting her "Let's Move" anti-obesity campaign on a football pitch in Washington.
The US First Lady took to the ground with a group of children at a football clinic to encourage youngsters to exercise daily for at least an hour.
"We're determined to finally take on one of the most serious threats to their future, and that's the epidemic of childhood obesity in America today," the Telegraph quoted her as saying at the launch of her Let's Move campaign last month.
She also told CNN: "Our military leaders report that obesity is now one of the most common disqualifiers for military service.
"Economic experts tell us we are spending outrageous amounts of money treating obesity-related conditions." (ANI)
