Iraq sees violence ahead of national elections
Najaf, Mar 6: Violence mars Iraq as the country braces itself for the crucial national elections. The holy city of Najaf was targeted on Saturday, Mar 6, wherein a car bomb exploded killing at least three people.
The explosion took place in a area that is popular among the Shi'ite pilgrims as the revered Imam Ali shrine is located nearby.
The bomb destroyed two tour buses parked at a garage in the vicinity and wounded at least eight people.
Out of the three fatalities, two were Iranians.
