'Nithyananda sex tape created by a jealous inmate'

Bangalore, Mar 4: As expected the famous 'It was morphed' defense has come from Swami Nithyananda spokesperson in connection with the raging controversy of the leaked sex tape showing the Swamiji in a comprosing position with a Tamil actress.

Besides this, the spokesperson has alleged that one of inmates of the ashram, Premananda alias Lenin Karuppan, was behind this malicious campaign against the Swamiji.

Swamiji"s spokesman, who spoke to the media amid police protection, added that Premananda was jealous of Swami Nithyananda's popularity, which drove him to this act to defame the spiritual guru.

Swamiji has reportedly even approached a civil court to stop the channels from airing the footage but was turned down.

The spokesperson said that action will be taken against those involved in this defamation campaign and that the petition has been posted for hearing for Monday, Mar 8.

The Tamil actress found in the footage with the Swamji has been identified as a Tamil actress by Sun TV.

Giving another angle to the story, one of the devotees has revealed that when he was at the Ashram during the summer, he saw the Swamji and the actress together all the time.
