Vaishno Devi shrine put on terror alert

New Delhi, Mar 3: Central security agencies have reportedly warned that the Vaishno Devi Shrine in Jammu is under the terror radar.

"Central security agencies have furnished inputs based on intelligence intercepts to that effect. It is not in public interest to disclose these facts," minister of state for home affairs, Mullappally Ramachandran told the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, Mar 3.

The minister added that the agencies have sent advisories to the state government and Union territories administration to stay alert and prepared to thwart any threat to the religious place.
