PAC to field more Malaysian Indians candidates in 2011 Polls

Kuala Lumpur, Mar. 2 (ANI): Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) President Abdul Hadi Awang has said more Malaysian Indian would be given an opportunity to contest the 2011 general election.

The Star quoted Awang as saying that his party would ensure that justice, equity and fairness were practised at all stages of the election.

His statements came during his interaction with reporters after meeting a 300-member PAS delegation in Kedah on Thursday.

There are about 42,000 Malaysian Indians in PAS Supporters Clubs throughout the country. (ANI)
