Suicide bomber kills four Afghans in Kandahar

Kandahar (Afghanistan), Mar. 1 (ANI): A suicide car bomber hit a NATO-led convoy in southern Afghanistan on Monday and killed four Afghan civilians.

Hospital sources and witnesses said several foreign soldiers were wounded in the blast that took place on a road several kilometers from Kandahar airport.

The airport is a key base for a major offensive by Afghan and foreign forces.

The Afghan civilians were killed after they pulled their car over on the side of the road to let the NATO-led convoy pass, a common act in rural areas. (ANI)
