Guntur: Senior Cong leader's son ragged
Guntur, Mar 1: Krishna Kant, 22-year-old, son of senior Congress leader K Vijaya, was allegedly ragged at a corporate college in Vadlamudi village in the district here.
According to police, Vijaya has lodged a complaint alleging that around 30 students, belonging to upper caste, ragged him at the college eatery and abused his caste.
Police said, the victim has identified three culprits in the First Information Report (FIR).
Chebrolu police station registered a case under the AP Ragging Act of 1997 and the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act in this connection.
