Moderate earthquake hits Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 28 (ANI): An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale hit Kashmir valley in the wee hours on Sunday.

The office of the Meteorological Department said: "The quake with its epicenter located in the Hindukush mountain range of Afghanistan hit Kashmir valley in the wee hours."

However, there are no reports of loss of life and property from anywhere in the state. (ANI)
