CAT 2009 exam results likely to announce on Feb 28
New Delhi, Feb 28: The much awaited Common Admission Test (CAT) 2009 exam results likely to be announced on Sunday, Feb 28.
According to the official web site of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), CAT 2009 Results deferred to end of Feb 2010.
Confusion prevailed among students as rumours of the announcement of CAT results spread across the country for the second consecutive day on Saturday, Feb 27.
According to sources, the rumour was triggered by a message sent to many students that the results would be out on Friday, Feb 26.
Hridesh Madan, who runs a CAT training institute said, "Many of my students claimed they had received messages about the CAT results to be uploaded on IIM website. It was after examining the matter that we got to know it was a hoax."
While some students logged on to the IIM website for the results, others made a dash to their institutes to get a clearer picture.
"We've been answering anxious calls since morning about the result. CAT is considered to be an important examination and students are worried," said Sumit, a teacher.
