Karzai calls Manmohan Singh over Kabul blast
New Delhi, Feb 27 (ANI): Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai on Saturday called Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to express his condolences on the loss of Indian lives and injuries sustained by many others in the terrorist attack in Kabul on February 26.
Dr Manmohan Singh conveyed India's outrage at the incident and thanked the Afghanistan Government for the assistance being given.
Dr Singh requested President Karzai to ensure full security for Indian nationals in Afghanistan.
The two leaders agreed to stay in touch with each other.
India on Friday condemned the Kabul attack, which targeted residential facilities and killed nine Indians besides other some other persons of Afghanistan and third world countries.
India expressed its deep concern saying it is clearly aimed against the people of India and the people of Afghanistan. (ANI)
