Naga leader Th Muivah to hold talks with Dr Singh
New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah) General Secretary Th Muivah is expected to arrive New Delhi on Saturday (February 27) to hold talks with Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
Sources said Dr Manmohan Singh has invited Th Muivah for talks and he would be arriving here from Amsterdam. The two leaders are expected to have talks on March 2 and March 3.
Meanwhile, a five-member delegation of the proscribed National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah) has left Dimapur for New Delhi to make necessary arrangements for the proposed visit of their general secretary Th Muivah.
The delegation that will arrive in New Delhi from Dimapur includes steering committee members Tongmeth Wangnao, Johnny Dilbung, Vikiye Awomi and Imcha Longkumer.
The delegation will also meet the Nagas residing in New Delhi and make arrangements for a reception for their leader.
There are reports that the delegation would also monitor the security aspects prior to the arrival of Th Muivah. (ANI)
