Youngster attempts self immolation near Parliament
New Delhi, Feb 23: An unemployed youth attempted self immolation in front of the Parliament on Tuesday, Feb 23 afternoon.
The youngster, who has been identified as Vijay Singh from Maharashtra, reportedly tried to set himself on fire at Vijay Chowk in Central Delhi at around 1 pm.
However, he was saved as police and by standers rushed to his rescue.
The motive behind the youngster's act is yet to be ascertained.
